Swimming Lessons at Epworth Swimming Pool
As a swimming centre that is open 7 days a week, we have swimming lessons and swimming sessions for everyone. From beginners, to experienced swimmers, young to old – we try to give everybody a reason to come swimming.

Available For Hire
Have the most amazing ‘Pool Party’ with our inflatable ‘Yellow Submarine’, balls and floats.
Option 1 – 1 hour private use of the pool, with inflatable.
Option 2 – 1 hour private use of the pool, with inflatable and then exclusive hire of the viewing area if you wish to provide a ‘Party tea’ and birthday cake.
Aqua Babes
Our Aqua Babes swimming sessions are a fabulous way for you to introduce your baby to water. As well as the obvious benefit of teaching your baby a potential life saving skill, swimming has been shown to establish eating and sleeping patterns and encourages physical, social & psychological development.

Education Lessons
We allocate several hours per week to teaching school children the important life skill of swimming and water safety.
Students are taught to:
- swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
- use a range of strokes effectively [for example, front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke
- perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
